Varials is an American metalcore band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, formed in October 2013. The band currently consists of guitarist/Lead Vocalist Mitchell Rogers, guitarist James Hohenwarter, bassist Mike Foley and drummer Sean Rauchut. Their first release was the single "Trapped", released on October 7, 2013. They… Varials is an American metalcore band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, formed in October 2013. The band currently consists of guitarist/Lead Vocalist Mitchell Rogers, guitarist James Hohenwarter, bassist Mike Foley and drummer Sean Rauchut. Their first release was the single "Trapped", released on October 7, 2013. They released an EP, Recollection in 2014. In 2015, they released the EP Failure//Control. In 2016, they released a split EP, Absolution with Wilmington, Delaware based band Vicious Embrace. They signed with Fearless Records in July 6, 2017, and announced their debut album Pain Again produced by Josh Schroeder, to be released on August 11. The lead single, "Anything to Numb" was released alongside a music video that day. The second single, "Pain Again" was released on July 28 with another music video. The song "E.D.A." had a music video released on August 10. The third single "Empire of Dirt"'s music video was released in May 2018. On January 23, 2020, vocalist Travis Tabron announced his departure from the band. The band consists of vocalist Elijah Witt, guitarist James Barnett, bassist Ryan Henriquez, and drummer Devin Clark. In 2015, the band signed to Rise Records, releasing their debut self-titled EP, Cane Hill. On January 19, 2018, their sophomore album Too Far Gone, was released, again via Rise Records. Too Far Gone was critically acclaimed, featuring the singles "Too Far Gone, "It Follows", "Lord of Flies" and "10¢". In late 2019, the band left Rise Records and became independent. As of 2021, the band has released two studio albums: Smile (2016) and Too Far Gone (2018), and three EPs: Cane Hill (2014), Kill the Sun (2019) and Krewe de la Mort Vol. 1 (2021). Cane Hill is currently recording material for two subsequent volumes of Krewe de la Mort Vol. 1, from which the songs "Power of the High" and "Kill Me" were released in late 2020. In February 2021, the band released the final single of Vol. 1 with "God Is the Enemy" during a Youtube livestream. On April 30th, the music video for the first single from Vol. 2, "Blood & Honey" was released along with a music video. In 2023, Cane Hill announced they had signed with Out of Line Music and with it released their single titled "A Form of Protest." In 2024, the band has released four singles including "The Midnight Sun," "Ecstasy in Grief," "Fade" and "Fade (Into You)" with the final single announcing their third LP "a piece of me i never let you find.", which came out on November 1st of that year.
