Kristeen Young (born 1975 in St. Louis, Missouri) is an American singer-songwriter and pianist. Her music is hard to describe in terms of genre, but the constant is her emotive, operatic voice and her dissonant, percussive piano playing. Her work is completety self-made and DIY. In the early 2000's she began working with the producer Tony Visconti.
